Gunpla that I managed to finish this year.
HG Astraea Type-F/Avalanche Exia/Exia R2/Full Saber kitbash
This one has been a long time coming I’ve finally hit the point with it that I really feel like it’s finished. I much prefer the asymmetrical look it has now that I’ve removed the GN Buster Sword despite the fact that doing that gives it 6 swords instead of 7.
Some more shots while I wait for the Exia R2’s sword to arrive.
Astraea kitbash WIP. Just have to wait for the Exia R2’s sword to get here and attach the GN Sword IV.
Few more pictures of the Exousia Astraea, this time without it’s weapons.
HG 1/144 “Exousia” Astraea kitbash mini-gallery. Paint chipped where the Full Saber and GN Buster sword attach but I fixed it up already along with that little bit of blue on the back of the head.
[Combination of HG 1/144 Astraea Type F, Avalanche Exia, 00 Gundam 7 Swords/G and GN Sword IV Full Saber]
My two big WIPs at the moment.
Just the GN Full Saber to finish now. I almost went with no v-fin on this to give it an overflag look but wound up sticking with it anyhow because I don’t want to dick around with putty at this stage.
Finally got the hang of using this DSLR in combination with my new light box.
Now I just need my replacement o-rings for my airbrush to show up so I can get back to work.
Back to work on my Astraea kitbash. I figured out how to attach the GN Buster Sword and GN Full Saber, which will be added once I finish painting the weapons themselves.
Also have two commissions lined up. A simple painted build of the MG Banshee and an MG Astray kitbash painted up like the Inferno Armor from Samurai Troopers.
Finally done. Very peased with how it turned out since it was my first time getting to to pla-plate and putty. End results are well worth the extra fanagling it took to get some of that stuff situated. I’ll have a full photoshoot up sometime in the near future.
The final picture of the Astraea is my next project I’m going to wrap up. It’s a mix of the Astraea, Avalance Exia and 00 7S/G that’s been in limbo for some time now. It’s due.
