so athena has had these bumps for a few weeks now- i’ve changed her food and switched her shampoo back to what i used before and when i took her to the vet he had nothing of substance to tell me (“uh…oh…uh..keep an eye on it..and..uh..” …very well spoken, as you can see :\ ) so i’m turning to you guys.
they don’t seem to be causing her any discomfort (no scratching or digging at them) but she never got these last summer so i don’t know what’s going on. she does lick her paws now and then which i’ve read is a sign of allergies, could that be causing all these bumps though? i’ve been giving her a benadryl with her food to help stop the paw licking which works but hasn’t done anything or the bumps.
any input would be greatly appreciated, i’m worried about my little cuddlebug. :(

so about how my dog is really pretty
it’s muddy as shit outside ut i can’t say no when she starts whining and wants to go play out there. it’s really nice out too, so what the hell.an hour of her having fun is worth the ten minute bath, look at that smile!

Above is my really good friend Alexis’ son Angel and dog Royce. She lives in a Aurora, CO where Pit Bulls are banned. They came to her house a couple days ago and took her dog and gave her a $700 fine. She has 2 weeks until her court date and they are not releasing her dog until she finds a place outside of the area where they are allowed. She is trying to get a petition together to allow her dog to come back home and hopefully start to change the laws that this city currently has. As you can clearly see from above, her dog is so lovable and apart of the family. Without him they are all hurting. happy valentines from athena and i!
so athena gets really anxious when we go on car rides, she pants and trembles a lot whenever we go anywhere. is there anything i can do to help her get over this fear? i don’t want to just keep dragging her on car rides because she obviously has some negative association with them (or is just afraid for no reason, i don’t know) so i want to find the core issue and work with her on that. i’ve tried letting her lay down with her blankets and other things around her to comfort her, as well as letting her stay secured. even if i pet or keep an arm around her while we drive she still worries a lot, and i’m mostly at a loss for what to do to help her relax.
does anyone have any ideas on what to do to help this? i love taking my baby on trips with me but i worry that all that panting and worrying is bad for her. i appreciate any ideas!
